Senior Market Data Analyst
- Lead client strategy sessions, delivering multi-month trend analyses with predictive modeling to uncover long-term cost savings. Supervise junior analysts in preparing data visualizations and reports, ensuring quality and consistency in client deliverables.
- Serve as the primary architect of client-facing cost reduction strategies, overseeing a team of analysts who support research and implementation. Conduct regular team reviews to align insights with business goals.
- Establish and enforce SQL standards and best practices across the analytics team. Review and approve complex queries submitted by junior analysts, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team proficiency.
- Lead a cross-functional task force to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues. Oversee the development of automation tools by junior analysts and ensure integration with broader system architecture.
- Design and maintain a shared Python automation library used organization-wide. Delegate scripting tasks to junior analysts, review code quality, and mentor team members on advanced techniques and documentation standards.
- Act as analytics lead in data governance initiatives, guiding junior staff in root cause analysis, and representing the analytics department in cross-departmental meetings to resolve complex data issues.
- Head major analytical projects for enterprise clients, overseeing the entire lifecycle—from data ingestion to executive presentation. Lead a team of analysts in research, modeling, and report creation, ensuring executive-level communication and clarity.
- Build and manage a robust testing framework for analytics workflows. Delegate test script development and validation tasks to team members, while ensuring coverage and scalability of all automation QA processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field and 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or substantially similar position. Alternatively, must have a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field and 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analyst or substantially similar position.
Special Skills Required:
Required experience must include all of the following: utilizing Bloomberg billing modeling for cost estimation; working with Airflow, Python, PostgreSQL, and Business Intelligence tools; creating reports and presenting them to customers and internal teams; leading automation processes; and performing data collection and analysis in a Fintech environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is 139,506 - $146,000.
