Grants Management Unit Supervisor - Supervisor I

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by performing the grant management functions of the Center for Laboratory Sciences and Response (CLS) to ensure fiscal responsibility enabling the efficient and timely delivery of public health laboratory services, ultimately supporting health and safety of California’s residents.

The Supervisor I, acting as the Grants Management Unit Supervisor manages a team of analysts and specialist to build and maintain grant budgets, facilitate grant reports, track grant expenses, liaise with grantees & grantors, and track grant progress reports for the Center and its grant recipients. This includes developing and implementing program policy, procedures, and priorities while collaborating in decision making for the program. Responsible for the day-to-day grant and financial operations of the Unit.

The incumbent works under the general direction of the Supervisor II, of the Fiscal & Grants Management Section.
