About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Production Planning Coordinator to join our supply chain team. This role supports the day-to-day execution of production planning activities across our hair care portfolio, including purchase order processing, BOM maintenance, and new item setup in NetSuite. Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Purchase Order Management

• Process and track purchase orders for raw materials, components, and finished goods in support of production schedules and inventory targets
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to confirm PO acknowledgments, delivery dates, and quantities
• Monitor open POs and escalate delays, discrepancies, or supply risks to the planning team
• Help maintain inventory levels by flagging potential shortages or overstock situations

BOM & New Item Setup (NetSuite)

• Support the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials in NetSuite for hair care SKUs, including new launches, reformulations, and promotional configurations
• Execute new item setup in NetSuite by gathering required inputs from R&D, packaging, finance, and operations to ensure records are complete and accurate
• Assist with routine BOM audits to identify and flag discrepancies that could impact costing, planning, or production
• Help uphold data standards for item master and BOM records in accordance with team guidelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to support production readiness and on-time delivery
• Assist in preparing supply availability inputs for S&OP meetings and planning reviews
• Serve as a point of contact for vendor inquiries and routine supply issue resolution

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations, preferably in beauty, personal care, or consumer packaged goods
• Some NetSuite experience preferred; willingness to develop proficiency in BOM management and item master setup required
• Basic understanding of supply chain fundamentals including purchase order management, lead times, and inventory tracking
• Experience supporting vendor relationships and assisting with supplier coordination, including following up on orders, tracking deliveries, and helping resolve supply issues
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working within ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Clear and professional communicator who works well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hair care, cosmetics, or personal care environment
• Familiarity with contract manufacturing or third-party supplier management
• Exposure to S&OP or demand/supply planning processes
