Growth Intern – Karri
Boston, MA
Please apply through our application link only. Applications via other channels will not be considered.
At Karri, we’re building a simple but powerful service: door-to-door luggage valet. We pick up luggage from the airport and deliver it directly to your Airbnb or hotel—so travelers don’t have to wait around for 4PM check-in.
Flight lands at 8AM? You get your whole day back.
We’re early, scrappy, and moving fast. If you want a front-row seat to building a real business—from operations to growth to customer experience—this is it.
What You’ll Do (aka: Wear All the Hats)
1) Operations (On-the-Ground Work)
- Assist with luggage pickup and delivery across Boston
- Coordinate timing and routes
- Ensure a smooth, reliable customer experience
- Work closely with leadership to improve operations and customer experience by identifying real friction points on the ground
This job trains both your physical and mental muscle. We don’t believe in strategies that live only on paper—we believe you learn by doing. You’ll go through the full process yourself, understand how things actually work, and tell us what can be improved.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a venture’s operations by experiencing and refining them firsthand.
Requirements:
- You must have a driver’s license (having a car is a big plus)
- If you’ve done Uber, DoorDash, or similar work—we love that experience
2) Social Media & Growth
- Help create content (Reels, TikTok, short-form videos)
- Experiment with AI tools to generate ideas, edit videos, and scale output
- Test what works—this is a learning playground, not a rigid system
We don’t expect you to be an expert—we care more about curiosity and initiative
3) Business Development & Partnerships
- Reach out to Airbnb hosts, property managers, and local partners
- Reach out to event and conference organizers to secure event partnerships for growth
- Send cold emails, make calls, and help us get meetings
- Support partnerships with buildings, events, and local businesses
Requirements:
- Yes, it can be uncomfortable. That’s the point
- This is one of the most valuable skills you’ll build—and it shows
Who You Are
- College student or recent grad
- Curious, hands-on, and not afraid to try things
- Comfortable being a bit uncomfortable
- Interested in startups, operations, or entrepreneurship
- Bonus: you like figuring things out more than being told what to do
What You’ll Get
- Real startup experience (not coffee runs)
- Direct exposure to building a business from 0→1
- Ownership over projects and visible impact
- A strong reference letter if you perform well
- Skills you can actually talk about in interviews
Compensation
- $15–$18/hour (based on experience)
- Hours: full-time, 40 hrs/week.

Your intro doesn’t need to be long. We know you’re applying to hundreds of jobs—it’s draining. We don’t want to waste your time or ours if this isn’t the right fit. Help us help you by sending something clear and real.
Tell us:
- Why you’re interested in this role
- What you’ve actually done that’s relevant
Anything counts. Gig work like DoorDash or Uber, managing social media for a family business, running sales for a school club, cold-calling sponsors, organizing events—whatever it is, we want to hear it. Show us how you think and how you approach things.
This opportunity is for people who are genuinely interested, want to learn, and are willing to do the hard work. This is not a polished corporate internship. But you will make real impact, do real work, and build experiences you can actually put on your resume.
GPA doesn’t matter much to us. We’re a team with all the Ivy League degrees you can imagine—we already know you’re smart. What we care about is whether you have the mindset and personality to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.
If that sounds like you, send us something real through the application link. We look forward to reading it!
