Grants Operations Assistant


JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Grants/Operations Assistant (Intern)

REPORTS TO: Grants Manager

DEPARTMENT: Operations

DATE: Fall 2026 (September 2026- December 2026) 

SALARY GRADE: $150 Per Week (Travel Stipend) 40 Hours

LOCATION:21 Bon Air Drive Warminster PA18974

REQUIRED HOURS:40 Hours per Week (SR Internship)

POSITION PURPOSE: Founded in 2005, Pitch in For Baseball& Softball collects and redistributes new and gently used baseball/softball equipment in an effort to contribute to youth development through the growth of youth baseball. We work with a variety of partners to achieve our mission of helping increase access to baseball and softball. This position will focus on assisting the Grants Manager to ensure that all grantees are responded to in a timely manner, organize and collect data from grantees, and help assist on funded projects and events throughout their internship.

Job Responsibilities:

-Review incoming applications (U.S.-Based, School-Based, and International) and compile key information into a standardized cover letter document. 

-Enter and maintain accurate grantee data in the internal database.

-Review the UPS website to gather and document shipping estimates for grantees worldwide. 

-Assist with reviewing and accurately filing Impact Reports into the appropriate folders for recordkeeping.

-Assist in the execution of funded programs, which may feature involvement from Major League Baseball organizations or players.

-Offer warehouse assistance, such as packing items for funded initiatives and supporting general warehouse operations.

-Create order and improve accessibility of existing materials (e.g., photos, documents) by implementing a more structured filing system. 

-Enter and manage data using Microsoft Word and Excel documents
