GPHCC Summer 2026 Internship
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to Latino business owners, chamber members, and community partners.
- Outreach & Surveys: Conduct phone surveys and outreach calls to local businesses to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and identify community needs.
- Data Collection: Assist with survey distribution and data collection efforts that support programs benefiting small businesses.
- Event Support: Help plan, organize, and promote GPHCC programs and events while providing professional support to attendees.
- Community Engagement: Assist in coordinating networking and community events that foster business development and community involvement.
- In-Person Promotion: Participate in visits to local business corridors alongside the GPHCC team to promote chamber programs, increase awareness, and register new members.
- Membership Initiatives: Support membership engagement efforts by maintaining communication with members and encouraging participation in chamber activities.
- Ethical Standards: Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information related to GPHCC and its affiliates.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in community engagement and supporting small businesses
- Organized, professional, and dependable
- Ability to come into office when needed
