Full-time summer internship, Part-Time Fall Semester Internship, Full-Time Entry Level for recent grad

Aircraft Mechanic – FAA Part 145 Repair Station

Safety Sensitive: Ability to pass background check and Drug & Alcohol screening.

Reports to: Director of Maintenance, BNA

Duty Location: Nashville, TN

This position will support the Quality Manager and Director of Maintenance to maintain OSHA compliance within the repair station operations. Complies with safety, fire, security, and housekeeping regulations. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Become familiar with related OSHA and TNOSH requirements. 

Performs audits of current company safety policies and programs against requirements.

Performs random audits on job sites to ensure compliance.

May be required to travel to job sites to perform remote audits.

Completes audit reports and offers feedback to QM and DOM.

Monitors calibrated tools and LEL meters using in repair station operations.

Qualifications:

Current college student or recent college graduate with a degree in:

Human Resource Management, Aviation Safety, Business Administration, Risk Management, Organizational Management

Use proper time management to ensure projects are completed on time

Basic knowledge of OSHA safety principles and purposes

General shop experience

Understands, reads and writes English.
