Social Media Manager
Social Media Manager
We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to help run and grow RevisionDojo’s main social media pages across all curriculums.
This is a fully remote role with a competitive salary, working with a team that has already built one of the strongest creator programs in the education space.
This is a paid, 100% remote role. You do not need to be based in the UK or Hong Kong. You can be based anywhere, as long as you're comfortable working with a team that operates around Hong Kong time!
This role is for someone who understands student culture online. You don’t need to come from one specific curriculum, but you should understand at least one of these worlds properly: IB, GCSEs, IGCSEs, A-levels, SATs, or APs. You know how students talk, what they stress about, what they find funny, and what makes them stop scrolling instead of instantly knowing a brand wrote the post.
As Social Media Manager, you’ll help manage RevisionDojo’s main social pages, with a focus on creating content that feels useful, current, and native to the platform. This includes carousel posts similar to what we currently publish on the RevisionDojo main page, as well as Reels, short-form videos, trend-based posts, study content, exam-season content, and posts that connect Dojo to pop culture and student life in a natural way.
The goal is not to make generic “study tips” content. The goal is to make content students would save, share, laugh at, or send to a friend because it feels like it was made by someone who actually understands what they’re dealing with.
You should be able to move between useful study content and more culture-led content without making either feel forced. One day, that might mean designing a carousel on how to use past papers properly. Another day, it might mean turning a current TikTok trend into something that makes perfect sense for IB, GCSE, A-level, SAT, or AP students.
You’ll be responsible for things like:
- Managing RevisionDojo’s main social media pages across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Creating carousel posts similar to the current RevisionDojo style, including study tips, exam advice, relatable student content, and curriculum-specific posts.
- Designing posts that feel clean, useful, and native to the brand, without looking overly corporate or generic.
- Creating Reels and short-form video concepts in RevisionDojo’s tone, including hooks, scripts, captions, and trend adaptations.
- Keeping up with student culture across IB, GCSE, A-level, SAT, and AP spaces, then turning those insights into content ideas.
- Spotting trends, memes, sounds, formats, and online conversations that could be adapted for student audiences.
- Writing captions and post copy that sound natural, clear, and student-aware.
- Planning content around exam season, results day, mocks, coursework deadlines, university applications, and other moments students care about.
- Working with the growth team to test different content formats and understand what drives saves, shares, comments, follows, and conversions.
- Helping make RevisionDojo feel less like an education company posting online and more like a brand students genuinely recognize, trust, and relate to.
Bonus points if:
- You’ve grown your own TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts account.
- You’ve made study, student-life, meme, or education content before.
- You have strong design taste and know how to make carousels that people actually read.
- You understand IB, GCSEs, A-levels, SATs, or APs from personal experience.
- You’re comfortable using Canva, CapCut, Figma, Adobe tools, or similar design/editing tools.
- You spend enough time online to notice trends early, but have enough judgment to know which ones a brand should ignore.
- You’ve worked with an education brand, tutoring company, creator program, or student community before.
