Job Information:
Inside Sales Level 1 - Work with the outside sales team on New Equipment, Repairs, and Parts proposals; and simple order entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete proposals for both duplicate and new applications.
- Proposal types include end users, engineering contractors, OEM’s, & resellers.
- Ability to dissect engineering pump specs & provide comments & clarifications.
- Process orders through CSD and/or directly with the manufacturing principal depending upon the equipment sold.
- Provide order acknowledgments to customers & account reps.
- Provide status of shipment on equipment orders to the sales team or customers as necessary.
- Contact will involve other OEC team members, manufacturing principals, and sometimes directly with the customer.
- Understands customer needs and requirements.
- Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Handles inbound calls and provides callers with product and technical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Degree from a four-year college or from a two-year college or technical school a plus; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical solution and developmental skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs clearly.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial commitments and expectations with customers.
