Creative Content & Branding Photographer Intern (Student Opportunity)
Creative Content & Branding Photographer Intern (Student Opportunity)
The Role
We are a boutique Austin real estate firm with 24 years of industry experience, currently in the middle of a major brand refresh. We are looking for a creative, motivated student or intern to help capture our new look.
This isn't a stiff, corporate headshot session. We are looking for a Hybrid Branding Shoot that captures the personality, hustle, and local expertise of our brand. This is a perfect opportunity for a photography or digital media student looking to build a professional portfolio with a long-standing local business.
The Work
- The Hybrid Session: Execute a multi-location shoot that includes "modern professional" portraits and "lifestyle" action shots (working at cafes, touring listings, interacting with the community).
- Content Library: Provide a diverse gallery of high-resolution images for use across our website, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Location Scouting: Assist in identifying visually compelling Austin backdrops that align with a high-end, international aesthetic.
- Basic Editing: Deliver a curated selection of edited images that feel natural, bright, and consistent with our new brand identity.
Requirements
- The "Eye": A strong sense of composition and lighting. You should be able to make a "working at a laptop" shot look editorial and engaging.
- Equipment: Must have your own professional-grade camera and editing software.
- Collaboration: A positive, "down-to-earth" attitude. We serve a diverse international clientele and value a partner who is professional and easy to work with.
- Portfolio: Must have examples of portrait or lifestyle work to share.
- Reliability: Punctuality and clear communication are non-negotiable.
Compensation
- Flat Project Fee: $200 per session (inclusive of shoot time and final edited digital files).
- Credit: We are happy to tag you and credit your work on our social platforms to help grow your business.
- Status: 1099 Independent Contractor.
