Parts Sales Intern
Summer Intern – Parts Sales & Marketing Support
Hunter Foundry Machinery Corporation is seeking a Summer Intern to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. This position will support our parts sales and marketing initiatives, with a focus on improving product visibility, helping reduce inventory levels, and supporting the customer experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while learning about marketing, customer service, inventory management, and data organization.
What your day will look like:
- Taking high-quality pictures of machine parts and components
- Organizing and labeling part photos for internal and external use
- Supporting marketing efforts related to parts sales
- Helping prepare parts listings for sale on well-known online marketplaces and websites
- Assisting with inventory reduction projects
- Updating part information, descriptions, and related data as needed
- Working with the parts, customer service, and marketing teams to gather accurate product details
- Helping maintain organized records for parts, photos, and sales listings
What we are looking for:
- Interest in working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Interest in marketing, customer service, sales support, and/or data management
- Strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills
- Ability to stay organized while working on multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn about industrial parts and equipment
- Clear communication skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and with a team
Requirements:
All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. Current college students or recent graduates with an interest in business, marketing, communications, supply chain, data management, manufacturing, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
