QC Lab Technician

You prepare chemicals, test lab samples, and ensure medicines meet strict quality standards in a regulated biotech lab

Job Summary:

• The QC lab technician will prepare QC reagents and solutions per the appropriate SOP. Performs routine assays (pH, Appearance), routine laboratory maintenance tasks including organization and cleaning of work areas, checking for expired reagents and standards, disposal of product samples, chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with the document control department for the timely filing of QC records and for the issuance of QC logbooks.

Essential Duties:

• Preparation of QC reagents and solutions per applicable SOP.
• Maintain required inventory of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Routine inventory check of product and appropriate disposal.
• Perform frequency appropriate cleaning of laboratory equipment and waste disposal.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.

Experience:

• 0-1 years in a laboratory environment (GMP environment preferred).

Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Powerpoint).
• Proficient at multitasking.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Minimum Required:

• BS in related Sciences.
