Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours/Week | Paid
FBC Kaufman is looking for a creative, organized, and ministry-minded Media & Communications Intern to help capture and share what God is doing in our church while supporting our volunteer media teams.
This role is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or young creative who loves storytelling, social media, photography, and helping teams thrive behind the scenes.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create and schedule social media content for church platforms
- Capture photo and video content during Sunday services, events, and ministry activities
- Assist with graphics for digital and print communication needs
- Help maintain website and email communication updates
- Support major campaigns, sermon series, and seasonal events
Media Team Coordination
- Help recruit photography and social media volunteers
- Assist with scheduling volunteer photographers/social media team members
- Help onboard and train new volunteers on expectations and workflows
- Ensure volunteers have clear assignments for Sundays and events
- Help maintain consistency in content capture and brand standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong social media knowledge
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva required, Adobe preferred)
- Photography/video experience is a plus
- Organized and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working with volunteers
- Passion for ministry and storytelling
Schedule Expectations
Approximately 20 hours weekly including:
- Sundays
- Flexible weekday office hours
- Occasional special events
