Behavioral Health Research Assistant

Job Description:
The student will be assisting the Behavioral Health and Wellness Program in the Department of Psychiatry with a variety of research and evaluation duties including survey development, data collection and database management, literature searches, participant and community partner scheduling, community outreach, IRB submissions, and scientific writing. The student is expected to be on the Anschutz campus weekly on Wednesdays and there may limited additional travel for community meetings and/or data collection. On other days, work will be virtual.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current studenttaking at least6 credit hours(undergraduate) or 3 credit hours (graduate)
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Must be dependable, detail-oriented, flexible, organized, willing to learn, possess the ability to multi-task, and have a professional demeanor.
- Must have solidwritten and oralcommunication skills, including the abilityto communicate clearly and professionally via telephone and email.
- Must have at least one year’s experience working on tobacco and nicotine control.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-motivation to work virtually, as well as ability to work on a multidisciplinary team.
Length of Employment:
Up to the endof the semester when the student graduates

The Student Assistant commits to showing up for work diligently and punctually, honesty, performing assigned tasks, following directions, taking initiative, reliability, confidentiality, checking work for thoroughness and accuracy with attention to detail, and interest in learning new skills, especially mandatory computer skills. Ideal candidates will be willing to work up to a maximum of 25 hours weekly.
Pay Range:
$20 per Hour
