Technical Sales Representative

Chemcoaters is a Gary-based metals processor, with a market niche in cleaning and/or coating metal coils with water-borne chemicals.  We work with customers to retreat their material, or provide specialty lubricants & corrosion inhibitors.
Our Technical Sales Representatives both manage existing accounts and prospect to develop new markets & customers.

What you will be doing;

  • Support existing accounts with technical questions, some order management, relationship building
  • Customer & market prospecting, other research
  • Quoting & negotiating new orders/projects
  • Travel, heavy in spring & fall (up to 25% in some months)
  • Attend trade shows & visit customers / metals processors
  • Support growth of Salesforce/Pardo function
  • Generate marketing ideas
  • Learning the metals & processing/chemicals industry
  • Misc admin tasks/projects
