Role Description
This is a Full-time on-site role as a Sales Representative at Eric Ortego State Farm Agency, located in Arlington, TX. The Sales Representative will engage directly with customers to identify their insurance and financial needs, offer tailored solutions, and build lasting relationships. Responsibilities include generating leads, discussing policy options, assisting with policy changes, and following up to ensure client satisfaction. A proactive approach to meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional client service is crucial in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Sales and negotiation skills with a goal-oriented mindset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge of insurance products or a willingness to learn
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections professionally
- Basic proficiency in computer software and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus
- Previous experience in sales or customer-focused roles is preferred
- State Property & Casualty License required
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary + Commission Structure
- Starting Salary Range: $30,000 – $42,000
- Uncapped Commission schedule – earned from Day 1
- PTO earned after the first 90 days
- Monday – Friday Schedule
