Research Scientist Intern

This is a full-time, temporary, non-benefited position.

Must be a student with a minor/major in materials science or Coatings and Polymeric Materials, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a related field to be considered for employment.

Now you have a chance to use the knowledge you’ve gained in the classroom and apply it in real tech.

The Research Scientist Intern will work side by side with the Renuvix professionals and its partner labs to develop, characterize and apply new products in specialty coatings.

Required Skills: Basic laboratory skills are required. Preparation and characterization of organic/polymeric coatings is a plus.

Dates of employment: May 15, 2026 – August 15, 2026 (may start earlier or later, based on mutually agreed dates)

Hourly wage: $18/hour

Supervision: Will report to the Renuvix Senior Scientist

Location: NDSU Technology Incubator (NDSU Research Circle N)
