Management Trainee Program

Our Management Trainee Program focuses on development with a strong emphasis of learning our business from the ground up with your “boots on the ground” from day one! The Management Trainee program exposes candidates to all aspects of the business including production, sales, operations, and inventory management.

The candidate will learn the most in our manufacturing areas. They will work with all our machines, at all our different plants, and within all the key areas such as quality, safety, and different production lines. Upon the completion of the manufacturing areas, they will next go to the Operations Rotation where they will work with different Leadership Team Members where they will learn different aspects of the business from the Operations side in areas such as sales, accounting, scheduling, and purchasing.

At the completion of the Program, the participant and Great Lakes Forest Products, Inc. will work together to identify where the participant will work best within the organization.

The ideal candidate must be open to learning new things; not afraid to take chances and is driven to learn all aspects of the business.
