As a Student Trainee (Operations Research), the incumbent will work under closer supervision performing assignments and completing training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:
- Assist analyst personnel with developing mathematical and/or statistical models, methodologies, and solutions.
- Assist in applying and extending new methods in the application of operations research, mathematics, statistics, and modeling and simulation.
- Assist in developing mathematical solutions; assist in conducting research on mathematical trends and patterns; and/or assisting in performing mathematical and/or statistical analysis.
- Prepare, assemble, compile, process and/or present, and maintain statistical data to provide input for management reports.
