About the Role

ProMazo is building the go-to career content destination for the next generation of professionals — and we’re doing it on the streets of New York and San Francisco. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll be on the ground securing and shooting real interviews with executives, young professionals, and fellow summer interns, then helping transform that raw footage into compelling TikTok content.

This is a hands-on, field-based role. If you love talking to people, have an eye for storytelling, and want real-world media experience, this is it.

Role Details

Duration: 10 weeks, Summer 2025

Commitment: 10–15 hours per week

In-Person Requirement: 2–3 days per week on-site in your city

Location: New York City or San Francisco (must be based in or able to commute to your city)

Stipend: $2,000 for the full program

What You’ll Do

• Source and secure 5–10 short interviews (approximately 10 minutes each) per week with executives, young professionals, and summer interns in your city
• Run and shoot interviews in the field — you’re the producer, host, and cameraperson
• Capture authentic, on-camera conversations focused on career advice, roles, and professional journeys
• Collaborate with the team to transform raw footage into polished TikTok content
• Bring creative energy and fresh ideas to our social content strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Outgoing, confident, and comfortable approaching strangers and professionals in the city
• Genuine interest in career content, media, social storytelling, or journalism
• Comfortable on camera and behind it — basic video recording skills required
• Self-motivated and organized — you’ll be managing your own outreach and weekly schedule
• Based in (or able to commute to) New York City or San Francisco for the duration of the program
• TikTok-savvy with an eye for what makes short-form content engaging
