Business Development Intern

Role Summary

Company: Sentinel Imports 

Location: Virtual/Remote

Duration: Approximately 8 weeks (Summer Internship)

Compensation: Paid

Future Potential: Potential for full‑time role and/or part‑time continuation during academic year

Role Purpose

Support commercialization and growth of Sentinel’s U.S. import intelligence business by assisting market expansion research, partnership outreach, and go‑to‑market initiatives aligned with Sentinel’s growth roadmap.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the Digital Transformation, Website Modernization and KPI’s
  • Lead the development and execution of digital campaigns and lead generation initiatives
  • Sales/B2B Expansion to new Prospects and Partners in Growth Segments

Requirements – Candidates

  • MBA student or senior undergraduate in business (Management, Digital Marketing/Marketing) or related field
  • Interest in business development, strategy, or market intelligence
  • Strong Communication & Relationship Building
  • Self‑directed and comfortable in entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Background

  • Interest or coursework in agriculture, chemicals, supply chain, or trade
  • Experience with market research or business analysis projects
  • Familiarity with data analytics or business intelligence concepts
  • Prior internship in B2B or industrial sectors
  • MBA concentration in strategy, analytics, or marketing
