NovelMed Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation monoclonal antibody therapies for rare and serious diseases. Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated BS/MS/PhD students (CPT/OPT eligible) for a 6-12 month full-time co-op supporting our drug development programs at NovelMed. This role is ideal for students interested in biotechnology, biologics, immunology, translational science, and the drug development process. You will gain hands-on exposure to how therapies are developed, documented, and advanced toward human studies and regulatory approval. 

 

Candidates available to begin in mid-June 2026 are strongly encouraged to apply. This role is particularly well-suited for students seeking hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing drug development activities
  • Assist with scientific documentation, data summaries, tables, and reports 
  • Organize and maintain development records, study materials, and supporting documents 
  • Support preparation of materials for drug development and regulatory activities
  • Assist with data review, formatting, version control, and documentation quality 
  • Work with scientific, development, and cross-functional teams on active projects 
  • Gain exposure to the broader process of biologics development, from research through clinical-stage execution
  • With appropriate qualifications, support laboratory assay work, sample analysis, and related documentation for preclinical and clinical biologic development programs

 

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field 
  • Eligible for CPT / OPT / Co-op 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Effective written and verbal communication 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Interest in drug development, biologics, immunology, or translational science 
  • Wet lab research experience, including biochemical and immunological assays, preferred
