Marketing Intern

Management One sits at the intersection of SaaS and consulting. Our platform, Retail ORBIT, delivers merchandise planning intelligence to independent retailers — and our network of certified Affiliates delivers it with a personal, high-touch advisory layer. We serve hundreds of independent retailers across the U.S. and are growing our brand presence through webinars, email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.

About the Role

You'll support M1's full marketing function — from content and email campaigns to paid digital advertising. This is a hands-on role inside a SaaS and consulting business where marketing directly drives pipeline. You'll work across every channel we run, with a particular focus on growing our digital ad presence to reach more independent retail business owners.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid digital ad campaigns across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn targeting independent retailers
  • Monitor ad performance — track spend, CTR, conversions, and cost-per-lead — and report findings weekly
  • Support production of the M1 Live webinar series — scheduling, promotion, and post-event follow-up
  • Assist with monthly newsletter sourcing, writing, and distribution via HubSpot
  • Draft and schedule weekly outreach emails to our non-client database
  • Maintain and grow M1's social media presence with consistent, top-of-funnel content
  • Support the M1 private label retail course on Kajabi — content coordination and promotional outreach
  • Research retail industry trends to inform campaign messaging and content strategy
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs: email open rates, social engagement, MQL volume, and ad performance

What We're Looking For

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Hands-on experience or coursework in paid digital advertising — Meta Ads, Google Ads, or LinkedIn Ads
  • Strong written communication — can write a compelling email subject line or social caption quickly
  • Comfortable with digital marketing tools or eager to learn (HubSpot, Canva, Kajabi, Meta Business Suite)
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable reading ad dashboards and drawing conclusions from performance data
  • Organized and reliable in a remote, async-first environment
