Product Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

Compensation: Paid $18-$20/hour, with flexibility based on experience. Flexible hours + portfolio-building projects + possible continuation during school year.

Lester Electrical is a Lincoln-based manufacturer serving both OEM customers and aftermarket distribution partners with innovative products and solutions. We are growing our product lines and brand presence and are looking for a creative, motivated intern to join our team this summer.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Product Marketing Intern to support upcoming product launches and help strengthen our company branding. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on projects that will be used across the business, including customer-facing marketing materials and development of a formal brand guide.

This role is ideal for a student interested in marketing, graphic design, branding, or digital media who wants meaningful experience beyond administrative tasks.

What You’ll Work On

  • Design brochures, flyers, sell sheets, and other materials for new product lines 
  • Create customer-facing materials for both OEM and end-user audiences 
  • Help develop a company-wide brand guide for future marketing use 
  • Improve consistency in logos, fonts, colors, messaging, and visual presentation 
  • Assist with photography/content gathering for products and operations 
  • Support updates to existing marketing materials 
  • Nice to Have: Help with website content or layout update

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Current student at University of Nebraska–Lincoln or another college/university 
  • Majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Communications or related field 
  • Strong written and visual communication skills 
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools 
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines 
  • Webflow experience is a plus, but not required
