Social Media Intern

Location: Denver/Boulder, CO (Hybrid) 

Start Date: Late May 2026 (10-week internship, ~24 hours/week, $20-22/hour)

The Role 

We’re hiring a Social Media Intern to help bring our brands to life across digital channels and support the content that drives engagement, awareness, and community growth for both GoodBelly and Cheribundi. 

This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, content creation, and real-time social execution. You’ll help create and capture content, support campaign launches, and contribute to the day-to-day voice of our brands across platforms. You’ll partner closely with the Social Media Manager and Marketing team to turn ideas into content that resonates with athletes, wellness consumers, and our growing community. 

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience, enjoys being both creative and strategic, and is excited to contribute to fast-growing, purpose-driven consumer brands. 

What You’ll Own 

  • Support the development, creation, and publishing of social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) 
  • Ideate, capture, and produce short-form video and UGC-style content aligned with each brand’s voice 
  • Assist with real-time content creation during events, campaigns, and product launches 
  • Capture photo and video content for brand campaigns, lifestyle moments, and occasional events 
  • Draft clear, engaging captions that reflect brand tone and messaging 
  • Assist with content planning and scheduling to maintain a consistent posting cadence 
  •  Manage community engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and tagged posts 
  • Monitor engagement and flag notable trends, comments, or opportunities for follow-up 
  • Conduct research on social trends, competitors, and best practices 
  • Track and analyze content performance; support weekly reporting and insights 
  • Provide recommendations for content optimization based on data and trends 
  • Organize, tag, and maintain photo and video assets 

You’ll Be Great in This Role If You… 

  • Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field 
  • Are familiar with major social media platforms and current content trends 
  • Have experience in content creation, brand storytelling, or digital marketing (academic or personal projects welcome) 
  • Have basic video editing skills using mobile or desktop tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) 
  • Have strong written communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Are comfortable both behind and in front of the camera 
  • Can work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally 
  • Bring professionalism, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude
