Internship Brand Ambassador & Community Outreach

Pay: $15/hour
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Schedule: 15 hours per week, 120 total hours, and 8 weeks
Priority Deadline: April 28, 2026

Anticipated Start Date: May 5, 2026 

Anticipated End Date: Late June with opportunity to be considered for future internship opportunities
Schedule Requirements: Availability in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends required.

About the Internship

Looking for an internship that gives you real experience, not just busy work? This is a hands-on opportunity to build skills in marketing, community outreach, customer engagement, and brand promotion while representing a trusted local company.

Exterior Source | Bath Source is seeking an energetic, outgoing student to support local events, community outreach, content creation, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys working with people, wants experience beyond the classroom, and is excited to help grow a well-established local brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent the company at events and promotional opportunities 
  • Help build brand awareness and support lead generation 
  • Attend community events 
  • Ask satisfied customers for Google reviews, referrals, and short video testimonials when appropriate 
  • Help with event setup, materials, and outreach support 
  • Take photos and videos of completed projects 
  • Create basic content for marketing and social media 
  • Encourage customers and community members to follow our social media pages 
  • Support neighborhood outreach and additional branding projects as assigned 

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 18 years old 
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program 
  • Strong communication and people skills 
  • Outgoing, dependable, and eager to learn 
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative 
  • Comfortable using social media, smartphones, and basic photo/video tools 
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
