Small Business Intern
We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and driven intern to work directly with the owner of a fast-growing legal services business. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a small business actually operates—from marketing and operations to hiring, finances, and even evaluating new businesses to acquire.
What You’ll Learn & Do
This is not a “grab coffee and sit in meetings” internship. You’ll be involved in:

Marketing & Growth
- Brainstorm and test ways to get more attorneys and law firms as clients
- Assist with outreach, branding, and local business development

- Help improve systems and workflows
- Solve real operational challenges as they come up

- Get exposure to payroll, accounting, and financial tracking
- Learn how to manage and communicate with a small team

- See behind-the-scenes of how deals are analyzed and structured

About the Mentor
You’ll work directly with the owner, Spencer, who has:
- An MBA
- 10+ years of experience evaluating and acquiring small businesses
- Real-world experience building and scaling service-based companies

- Location: Salt Lake City, UT (in-person preferred, some flexibility possible)
- Schedule: ~20 hours/week (flexible within business hours)
- Pay: $20–$22/hour depending on experience
- Duration: May–August 2026
