Build Real-World Manufacturing Skills in CNC Machining & Quality

Preci Manufacturing is offering a paid summer internship for college students interested in machining, engineering, or advanced manufacturing. This hands-on program is designed to provide practical experience across CNC milling, CNC turning (lathe), and quality inspection.

Interns will rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the full production lifecycle from machining raw materials to inspecting finished precision components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts 
  • Support machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting 
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools 
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Record production and inspection data accurately 
  • Collaborate with machinists and quality personnel to maintain standards 
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Machining, or a related field 
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking 
  • Basic math and measurement skills 
  • Interest in hands-on, technical work 
  • Prior shop, lab, or machining experience is a plus, but not required
