Computer Engineer/Computer Scientist/Data Analyst:  

To serve as a computer scientist/computer engineer to perform
research and other professional work in the computer sciences/engineering and related scientific disciplines to support the 96th Range Group. Works independently or as part of a team in the development
and application of mathematical, statistical, and computational methods and techniques for the processing and analysis of scientific test data

Works closely with customers and fellow professionals in the development and implementation of new and improved data product capabilities. Functions as customer interface for coordination of all test data requirements with authority to commit organizational resources. Serves as POC for the development, quality control, and transmittal of data products for assigned projects.

Provides on-site mission support for all assigned projects to monitor and
ensure valid operation of real-time systems. Applies professional computer scientist/engineering knowledge to analyze failures and malfunctions, and uses these criteria as guides in developing effective, reliable, and suitable
corrective actions for problems in system software, application programs, and system hardware.

Requirements: 

  • Graduated within the past 2 years 
  • US Citizen
  • Min GPA 2.95 (for developmental opportunities)

  • Eglin AFB, FL (Fort Walton/Destin area)
