Sales & Marketing Intern

SALES & MARKETING INTERN

Headquartered in France, Cornilleau is a recognized manufacturer of premium game tables and sporting goods distributed worldwide. With a growing U.S. presence, we partner with retailers, e-commerce platforms, wholesalers, and independent sales representatives to expand our market footprint.

To support our continued growth in the United States, we are seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team. This position provides hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and communication within a fast-paced, fun industry.
This role is based in the United States (based either in Phoenix,AZ or Syracuse,NY).

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Intern will support the sales team in prospecting, market research, lead generation, and day-to-day sales operations. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to B2B and e-commerce sales processes, while contributing to revenue-generating activities.

The intern will work under the supervision of the National Sales Manager and collaborate with the US operations and customer service teams.

 

RESPONSABILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in lead generation and prospecting efforts (outreach, leads research, CRM updates).
  • Support development of new reseller and distribution opportunities (retail, online, institutional markets).
  • Help maintain and update online product listings, marketplaces, and dealer databases.
  • Assist and participate in tradeshows, sales presentations, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives (email campaigns, product pages, social media content).
  • Help prepare sales materials (presentations, catalogs, pricing sheets, marketing).
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales activities. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments: marketing, communication, US operations, and US customer service teams. 
  • Perform additional administrative or business-related tasks as assigned.
  • Versatility of tasks as other business duties may be assigned as needed.

 


 

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • CRM and sales tools usage.
  • Digital merchandising and online sales optimization.
  • Cross-functional business operations.

 

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS 

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, or marketing .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Organized, proactive, and rigorous.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Previous internship or experience in sales, retail, or marketing.
  • Interest in sports, outdoor lifestyle, or recreational products.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, email marketing, social media).

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily remote-based work with some days at the head office in Syracuse or in a coworking space in the Phoenix area.
  • Occasional participation in events or trade shows. 
  • Ability to lift product samples if required.

 

Compensation & Legal Compliance (Arizona / U.S.)

  • This is a paid internship (hourly, non-exempt position in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act).
  • Interns will be compensated at least minimum wage or higher, in accordance with applicable law (Arizona or New York).
  • Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable laws.

 

Employment Status

  • Internship position, temporary / fixed-term.
  • This internship does not guarantee full-time employment upon completion.
  • Employment is at-will, meaning either the employee or employer may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
