DeepBrain Academy (DeepBrainAcademy.org), based in Tenafly, New Jersey, is the educational arm of this vision—a premier learning center dedicated to developing advanced thinking, problem-solving skills, and academic excellence in students from elementary through high school. Through high-quality instruction in competition math, STEM, and strategy-based learning, we help students build deep understanding and achieve outstanding academic outcomes.

We are now expanding our social media and digital growth presence, especially on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (RedNote).

Position Overview

We are looking for a Marketing & Growth Intern who is excited about content creation, social media strategy, and user growth.

You will work closely with the founder and team to build a brand from 0→1 in the education space.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Social Media & Content

  • Manage and grow platforms:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Xiaohongshu (RedNote)
  • Create engaging content:
    • Short-form posts (education tips, parenting insights, student stories)
    • Visual content (posters, reels, carousels)
  • Translate complex ideas (AI / cognition / education) into simple, viral-friendly content
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar

🔹 Growth & User Acquisition

  • Design and run growth experiments (e.g., viral posts, referral campaigns)
  • Identify target audiences (parents, students, Chinese community, etc.)
  • Track and optimize:
    • Engagement (likes, saves, shares)
    • Conversion (DMs → sign-ups → enrollment)
  • Explore collaborations with:
    • Parent communities
    • Student influencers
    • Education KOLs

🔹 Brand & Positioning

  • Help define DeepBrain’s content voice & brand identity
  • Analyze competitors:
    • Kumon
    • AoPS (Art of Problem Solving)
    • Local tutoring centers
  • Contribute ideas for:
    • Campaigns (e.g., free trial classes)
    • Storytelling (student success, cognitive training benefits)

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate student (Marketing, Business, Media, or related)
  • Strong interest in:
    • Social media
    • Content creation
    • Education / parenting space
  • Familiar with at least one platform:
    • Xiaohongshu (RedNote) / Instagram / TikTok / Facebook
  • Good aesthetic sense (knows what content “works”)
  • Proactive and execution-driven

Preferred (not required)

  • Experience running social media accounts or content pages
  • Basic design skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Chinese-English bilingual (for Xiaohongshu (RedNote) content)
  • Data awareness (can read basic metrics)
