Land Analyst Intern
Vaquero Resources is seeking a highly motivated Land Analyst Intern to support its land, acquisitions, and development teams during the summer. This role offers direct exposure to active oil and gas projects, including leasehold management, title analysis, and acquisition evaluation.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain real-world experience in the upstream energy industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in pursuing a career in land, energy, or natural resources.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management, Finance, Business, Geology, or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with GIS or mapping tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Interest in the oil and gas industry and upstream operations
