Business Operations Associate

Job Title – Business Operations Associate or Intern 

This is a paid position and may be filled as either an internship or an entry-level role depending on the candidate’s availability and fit. 

This role works alongside company leadership to support and improve internal operations as we grow. You’ll get hands-on exposure to areas like Talent Acquisition, HR, DEI, Sales, and Marketing while building core business skills (organization, communication, follow-through, and professional problem-solving). We’ll tailor projects to your strengths and interests, and you’ll receive regular guidance and feedback. This position is ideal for someone who is excited to learn, contributes well on a team, pays close attention to detail, and wants to grow with the company over time. 

 

In your first 6 months at Tanduo, we expect you to: 

Learn Tanduo’s internal workflows across a few departments (e.g., Talent Acquisition, HR, DEI, Sales, Marketing) 

Support day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination to help the team stay organized and focused on priorities 

Assist with documenting processes, creating templates, and identifying small improvements that increase efficiency 

Collaborate with teammates to complete assigned tasks on time and to a high standard of quality 

Communicate updates clearly (status, blockers, next steps) and ask questions early when you need help 

Participate in regular coaching sessions and apply feedback to improve quickly 

 

Job Requirements 

Self-driven and able to manage priorities with guidance 

Strong organizational skills and follow-through 

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work 

Clear written and verbal communication 

Demonstrated teamwork experience (school, work, clubs, sports, volunteering) where you shared ownership of outcomes and delivered results together not just independently with occasional collaboration 

Interest in business operations and a willingness to learn across multiple functions (Talent Acquisition, HR, DEI, Sales, Marketing, etc.) 

Growth mindset and interest in developing with the company over time
