General job description -
Working with a team of tent installers or furniture delivery team to setup or take down tents of all sizes. Scope of work can be small backyard parties, to full on corporate, collegiate or festival events. Most events are outdoors, but we do work with a handful of indoor venue's and event spaces that are inside. Physically putting the tent in the air, hands on with components and equipment needed for the tent, and moving tables/chairs etc. into place are the most common actions on a daily basis.
Weekly hours will range between 40-50 hours a week. OT is readily available to those who are interested and weekend hours are also available.
No prior work experience is required, just the willingness to learn and take direction accordingly. We will offer competitive wages to those who have prior tent installation experience.
There are positions available at both our Webster NY and Henrietta NY warehouses.
Qualifications are -
Valid Drivers License (preferred OR reliable transportation to and from wok)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Available to work 40+ hours in season (OT will always be available)
Staying active for a full 8-10 hour shift
Ability to follow crew lead instructions, keep rental equipment clean, operate safely while on at the work site, and overall willingness to learn the trade.
