Social Media Content Creator

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to produce engaging static and video content across all of our platforms. You’ll split your time between our Cherry Hill office and the field—visiting active solar installations and happy homeowners to capture real footage and testimonials. You’ll report to our Marketing Manager, who handles overall strategy, brand alignment, and scheduling direction, so you can focus on what you do best: creating.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create static posts (graphics, carousels, branded imagery) for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google My Business.
  • Shoot and produce short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) at our office, installation sites, and customer homes.
  • Travel to active solar installations and completed projects to capture on-site footage, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Help guide homeowners and team members to feel comfortable and natural on camera.
  • Research trending audio, formats, and content ideas across TikTok and Instagram; bring recommendations to the team.
  • Schedule and publish posts across all platforms using our scheduling tools.
  • Engage with our audience—respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Design marketing materials (flyers, one-pagers, branded graphics) to support company branding and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure all content aligns with the Sunwise brand voice, monthly themes, and campaign goals.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience creating content for business social media accounts (TikTok and/or Instagram Reels experience strongly preferred).
  • Confident and personable—you can put homeowners and crew members at ease on camera.
  • Strong eye for visual storytelling; comfortable shooting and lightly editing photos and video on a phone or camera.
  • Up to date on social media trends, platform algorithms, and content best practices.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred—ideally Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. Experience with Canva and/or CapCut for design and video editing is also valued.
  • College students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (you’ll travel to installation sites across Central NJ and surrounding areas; gas and tolls are reimbursed).
  • Comfortable working in the field—on rooftops, in yards, and at customer homes.
  • Basic experience with digital cameras and/or drones is a plus (equipment provided).
