Location: Hardeeville, South Carolina preferred (primarily remote with occasional local engagement)

About Osprey Village

Osprey Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit developing a residential community in South Carolina for adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), focused on fostering independence, purpose, and long-term support.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Summer Intern to support fundraising, donor management, and community outreach efforts. This role is ideal for a quick learner with strong technology skills and a genuine interest in nonprofit work. There is potential for this position to transition into a full-time role post-graduation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with grant writing, research, and preparation of fundraising materials
• Help improve and streamline the organization’s donor database and tracking systems
• Conduct outreach to local businesses regarding sponsorship opportunities and potential employment pathways for future residents
• Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities independently
• Self-starter and quick learner with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable with technology and systems (CRM/database experience a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interest in grant writing and donor communications
• Strong interest in nonprofit work and supporting individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities
