- Ashanti Kollections is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Creation Intern to help grow our brand presence. This hybrid internship is perfect for a student interested in beauty, marketing, and digital content creation. You’ll gain hands-on experience working directly in a salon environment while also managing online engagement.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Assist with filming short-form videos (Reels, TikToks) in the salon
- Take high-quality photos of hairstyles and products
- Edit photos and videos for social media posting
- Help grow brand awareness through influencer-style content and engagement
- Research trends and suggest creative marketing ideas
- Engage with followers (comments, DMs, and brand interaction)
- Assist with promoting products like hair oils and leave-in conditioners
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college (Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred)
- Passion for beauty, hair, and social media trends
- Basic knowledge of video editing apps (CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Comfortable being on camera and/or representing the brand
- Strong creativity and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work both independently and in-person
