About Us Spilt Coffee Studio is a creative agency just outside Chicago doing photo, video, branding, and social media for small businesses, solopreneurs, and hospitality brands. We're small, fast, and the kind of place where your work actually gets seen.
The Role We're looking for a part-time Social Media & Content Intern to join us ASAP. This is a hybrid role — some weeks you're on set with us shooting, some weeks you're remote editing and scheduling. Expect real work, real clients, and real content hitting real feeds.
What You'll Be Doing
- Editing short-form video content — IG/FB reels, TikToks, stories
- Staying on top of trends and bringing ideas to the table
- Scheduling and managing posts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Occasionally joining on-site shoots to assist with production
- Helping shape the social voice for a range of creative clients
What We're Looking For
- Chronically online — you actually enjoy consuming and analyzing social media
- Comfortable in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing tools
- You understand why some reels work and others don't
- Self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding
- You get excited when you can apply current trends to other niches
- Bonus: any photography or videography background
Essential Skills
- Short-form video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — as a creator, not just a consumer
- Strong eye for pacing, audio, and on-screen text in reels
- Basic understanding of content scheduling and platform analytics
- Ability to work independently and manage your own deadlines
- Strong communication — you'll be working directly with the creative director and studio owner
