Sales Development Representative

At CUCollaborate, every team member is expected to embody our core values as an integral part of their role. This section outlines the key responsibilities, purpose, and expectations of the position, ensuring alignment with our mission and commitment to excellence.

CUCollaborate is a challenger consultancy that champions credit union growth through disruptive innovation. We are here to help credit unions adapt, grow, and succeed long term — and we offer the innovation, insight, and know-how to help them do it.

Our goal at CUCollaborate is to be the best in the world at solving problems that make the world a better place. We believe that growing credit union membership, increasing access to fairly priced financial products for people of modest means or those historically discriminated against, and helping credit unions maximize their impact in their communities and member's lives all make the world a better place. All employees should possess the following workplace values and competencies:

Judgement  – We focus on getting to the root of problems, not just treating symptoms. We think strategically and communicate clearly what we are—and are not—trying to do. We prioritize what must be done well now versus what can be improved over time, so the team stays aligned and effective.

Communication – We listen to understand, not just to respond. We communicate with clarity and brevity in writing and in conversation, and we stay calm and steady under pressure so that others can rely on us in stressful moments.

Impact – We measure ourselves by outcomes that matter. We deliver an exceptional amount of high-value work, and we perform consistently so teammates can depend on us. We favor great results over perfect process, act with urgency, and avoid analysis paralysis.

Curiosity  – We learn fast and ask great questions. We seek to understand our strategy, market, customers, and partners, and we build broad knowledge across business, technology, and financial services. We look beyond our specialty to contribute wherever the team needs us most.

Innovation – We continuously find better ways to work. We reframe problems to uncover practical solutions, challenge assumptions when it improves results, and generate ideas that prove useful. We keep CUCollaborate nimble by minimizing complexity and creating time to simplify.

Courage – We speak up and take responsible risks. We share what we believe even when it’s uncomfortable, make tough calls without excessive delay, and choose smart risks that move the company forward.

Passion – Our people are motivated and inspired by the value proposition of their work. Collectively, as a team, we are enthusiastically helping credit unions foster real economic and social change for their communities. If we don’t love what we do, we will never achieve the goals that we set for ourselves, our company, or the credit unions we serve.

Honesty – We are direct, transparent, and trustworthy. We practice candid feedback without politics, speak about others with the same respect we would use to their face, and quickly own mistakes so we can learn and improve.

Selflessness – We put what’s best for CUCollaborate ahead of what’s best for ourselves or our teams. We stay ego-less in pursuit of the best ideas, make time to help colleagues succeed, and share information openly and proactively so the whole organization moves faster together.
