Business Development & Outreach Intern
Global Express Connections LLC is seeking a Business Development & Outreach Intern to support expansion across heavy haul, infrastructure, and transportation coordination markets.
This role focuses on building structured outreach systems, identifying qualified carriers and logistics partners, and supporting relationship development with decision-makers across the transportation industry.
The intern will contribute directly to pipeline development, vendor network expansion, and strategic positioning within both private-sector logistics and future government contracting opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Research and identify heavy haul carriers, pilot car providers, and logistics partners
– Build and maintain structured outreach trackers using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
– Assist in developing outreach messaging (email and call scripts)
– Track outreach activity, responses, and conversion metrics
– Support development of target lists (ports, shipyards, infrastructure contractors, and carriers)
– Organize contact databases and maintain pipeline visibility
– Assist in refining business development workflows and systems

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
This is a project-based internship designed to provide hands-on experience in building real-world business development infrastructure.
This role provides direct exposure to transportation coordination operations, logistics systems, and scalable business development infrastructure within a compliance-driven environment.
COMPENSATION & PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
– Hourly pay: $15–$20 per hour
– This internship may be eligible for college credit based on your institution’s requirements
– Performance-based incentives may be offered based on outreach results and measurable pipeline development results

– Location: Hybrid (Sacramento, California + remote flexibility)
