Logistics Operations Intern

Global Express Connections LLC is seeking an Operations Systems & Data Analytics Intern to support the development of a structured logistics and dispatch operations platform.

This role is focused on building and optimizing a multi-sheet operational system used to manage transportation coordination activities, including escort scheduling, carrier tracking, revenue monitoring, and dispatch performance analytics.

The intern will work directly on a 25-sheet operational framework designed to support real-world logistics coordination across heavy haul and infrastructure transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Build and organize structured Google Sheets / Excel-based operational dashboards
– Develop data tracking systems for loads, carriers, escort availability, and revenue
– Assist in creating automation logic, formulas, and data flow between sheets
– Support development of executive dashboards and reporting tools
– Maintain data accuracy and system integrity across operational trackers

Preferred Skills:
– Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
– Understanding of data organization, formulas, and basic automation
– Analytical thinking and attention to detail
– Interest in logistics, operations, or supply chain systems

Program Structure:
This is a project-based internship designed to provide hands-on experience in building real-world operational infrastructure.

Primary compensation is provided through college credit (as applicable through your institution).

Performance-based incentives may be offered based on project completion and contribution to operational milestones.

This role provides direct exposure to transportation operations, logistics coordination systems, and scalable business infrastructure development within a compliance-driven environment.
