Job Description
Job Title: FMOS/ Ops Co Op Date: April 2026
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated FMOS Co-Op to join our team on-site for 3-4 months, focusing on continuous improvement in operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting projects that enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve production processes. The ideal candidate embodies FMD’s core values: Integrity, Velocity, and Teamwork, and demonstrates a strong understanding of operational processes and continuous improvement principles.
Responsibilities
- Apply problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to support operational projects and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of improvement initiatives.
- Exhibit strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus on project goals.
- Analyze workflows and demonstrate an understanding of operational efficiency and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Participate in hands-on activities to execute and sustain improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of process analysis tools or software is a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with others.
- Demonstrates a proactive, adaptable, and learning-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvement principles is preferred.
- Must work on-site during the co-op term.
