Sales Intern
On the Spot Trucking Inc. is looking for a hungry, self-motivated Summer Sales Intern to help us grow our trucking company. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-person and remote work, and is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real sales experience, wants to learn the transportation industry, and is motivated by performance-based pay.
This is a commission-only position, designed for someone who is confident in their ability to create opportunities and help drive growth. A major benefit of this role is that commissions earned during the summer are paid through December, giving the right person the chance to continue benefiting from the business they help develop.
We are looking for someone with energy, initiative, and a willingness to get in the trenches, learn the industry, and help us expand our customer base.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and identify potential customers that need trucking and logistics services
- Make outbound calls, send emails, and help create new business opportunities
- Assist with lead generation and sales outreach
- Help build relationships with prospective customers
- Learn our services, target markets, and how the trucking industry works
- Support business development efforts in a hands-on way
- Track activity, opportunities, and follow-up efforts
- Work directly with leadership to help grow the company

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, meaning the intern will split time between remote work and in-person involvement as needed. We want someone who can work independently, stay productive outside the office, and also be present for in-person collaboration, training, and hands-on learning opportunities.
Compensation
This is a commission-only role. The right person will have the opportunity to earn based on the business they help bring in, and commissions will continue to be paid through December on qualifying business generated during the summer internship period.
