Corporate Compliance Analyst

Location: On-site, Jacksonville, FL 
Salary: $50,000+

Job Summary

The Corporate Compliance Analyst plays a key role in supporting organizational compliance efforts, including the management of certificates, business licenses, unclaimed property, and general compliance activities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, a foundational understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to effectively communicate compliance-related information across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all certificates required for business operations
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals
  • Ensure proper documentation and accessibility of all certificates
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of business license applications
  • Track license expirations and ensure ongoing compliance with requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of all business licenses
  • Support unclaimed property processes, including due diligence and owner notification
  • Prepare and submit unclaimed property reports and remittances to state authorities
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation related to unclaimed property
  • Assist in monitoring adherence to internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Identify and assess potential compliance risks
  • Support implementation and enforcement of compliance initiatives
  • Assist in developing and delivering compliance training programs
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including documentation preparation
  • Communicate compliance requirements and updates to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all compliance-related tasks

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field required
  • Previous experience in a compliance-related role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of business licensing, regulatory requirements, and state unclaimed property laws
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to track deadlines and manage renewals effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
