Construction Management Intern
This is a hybrid role. You’ll split time between on-site construction support and off-site project/business development work. How much of each you do will shift with seasonality, job demand, and your skills and interests; we’ll balance your preferences with current needs.
On-site construction work may include:
- Fence construction and repairs (primarily summer).
- Indoor and outdoor painting.
- Drywall repair and installation.
- Small framing and outdoor structure construction.
- Other household and lawn maintenance as requested by clients.
Business development responsibilities may include:
- Preparing bids for government projects.
- Developing and improving estimating and pricing models.
- Researching and selecting suppliers.
- Reaching out to local trade companies to create subcontractor relationships.
- Finding new job leads.
Hours and scheduling are flexible to fit school demands and seasonality. Pay starts at $15/hour, with opportunities to increase after you demonstrate your ability to bring value.
