Marketing Manager
Reporting directly to the President of TYR Tactical and providing strategic support to the Vice President of Administration, the Marketing Manager operates at the intersection of marketing, social media, business development, and proposal development for a global manufacturer of lifesaving tactical protective solutions supporting law enforcement, special operations forces, dignitaries, and military personnel worldwide. This role includes managing the website, social media strategy, tradeshow management, creating graphics, product spec sheets, training guides, product photography, and sales team support.
This position requires a disciplined, hands-on professional who can translate complex technical and product information into clear, compelling content while ensuring alignment with company objectives, brand standards, and compliance requirements.
Acting as a key partner to Executive Leadership, Contracting, Sales, Customer Service, and Product Development, the Marketing Manager ensures marketing initiatives are cohesive, compliant, and strategically impactful.
The ideal candidate combines a strategic mindset with strong execution skills, managing multiple priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and consistently delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive & Strategic Marketing Support
- Report directly to the President and VP of Administration, managing multiple marketing priorities including social media, website, sales, tradeshows, photography, and business development efforts.
- Align marketing initiatives with executive priorities, ensuring efforts directly support company growth.
- Partner with leadership to identify market opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Technical Content, Product & Documentation
- Develop and maintain product catalogs, spec sheets, and technical documentation with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Partner closely with Product Development to translate product features, updates, and innovations into marketing materials.
- Capture and edit product photography for use in spec sheets, catalogs, proposals, and digital platforms.
- Ensure all technical and marketing content is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Website & Social Media Management
- Manage the company website on WordPress, ensuring content is current, accurate, optimized, and aligned with business priorities.
- Continuously improve website performance, user experience, and content relevance.
- Manage digital content updates, including product information, catalogs, and marketing materials.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing content across platforms, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance to optimize reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Sales & Tradeshow Management
- Maintain a centralized trade show tracker with updated event details, timelines, assets, and links, ensuring all information is easily accessible and organized.
- Coordinate end-to-end trade show logistics, including registration, booth booking, design, graphics, furniture, and payment processing.
- Manage all required event deliverables, such as certificates of insurance, compliance documents, and exhibitor requirements.
- Support the Sales team by ensuring all representatives have the necessary marketing materials, product information, and tools for each event.
- Continuously improve booth presentation, branding, and attendee experience, while coordinating pre-event promotional efforts, including social media and marketing assets
- Operational Execution
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality, and deliverables are consistently met.
- Maintain organization across a high volume of content, assets, and initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across marketing operations.
- Brand, Content & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute content across multiple channels, including product spec sheets, training guides, catalogs, brochures, website, and social media.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials and touchpoints.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, and photography preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe, CapCut, and Canva preferred.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership, with the ability to align marketing efforts to strategic business priorities.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical and product information into clear, compelling content.
- Hands-on experience managing websites in WordPress, including content updates
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach
- Experience with photography/videography and visual content creation is highly preferred.
- Self-directed, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
