Marketing Intern

CBI/JCE Marketing Intern 2026 

Location: Mequon, WI 
Duration: Summer 2026 (Full-time, ~40 hours/week for ~12 weeks) 
Compensation: $23/hour

About the Role 

We’re looking for a motivated and curious marketing intern to join our marketing team full time over the summer. This role will focus on website and virtual marketing, email campaigns, visual design, and the creation of sales materials. You’ll support day-to-day initiatives while gaining real-world, practical experience in a professional environment making it ideal for someone interested in being a part of an industry leading organization working to drive the U.S. industry, remediation, and environmental processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

Website Management  

Assist with updating website content, landing pages, and blog posts  

Optimize pages for user experience and basic SEO best practices  

Monitor website performance and suggest improvements  

Email Marketing Campaigns  

Help plan, build, and schedule email campaigns  

Design email layouts and write engaging copy  

Track and report on email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.)  

Design & Creative Support  

Create graphics for digital campaigns, social media, and website use  

Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets  

Assist in developing templates and visual guidelines  

Sales Materials Development  

Design and update presentations, one-pagers, brochures, technical data sheets, and case studies  

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure materials align with messaging and goals 

Help organize and maintain a library of sales collateral  

General Marketing Support  

Conduct market and competitor research  

Assist with campaign planning and execution  

Support additional marketing projects as needed  

Qualifications 

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field  

Strong written and verbal communication skills  

Experience with website building tools (e.g., Wordpress) 

Experience with analytics tools preferred (e.g., Google Analytics) 

Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)  

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills  

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects with minimal oversight.
