Business Operations Internship - Summer 2026

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Intern to join our Fund Administration team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the operational backbone of investment funds and is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The intern will support day-to-day operational activities, assist with reporting and data analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily fund administration operations, including data validation, reconciliations, and process documentation
  • Assist in preparing operational and management reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Build and maintain Excel models utilizing VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Help analyze operational data and identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement
  • Create clear, professional PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders and management
  • Collaborate with team members across operations, accounting, and client service groups
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all work products

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Entering Senior year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with:

-VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

-Pivot tables

-Data sorting, filtering, and validation

  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to or interest in fund administration, asset management, or financial services
  • Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, operations, or accounting concepts
