HCK2 Partners, a full-service marketing and communications agency based in Addison, TX, is looking for a post-graduate communications intern who is curious, detail-oriented and ready to jump into client work alongside a collaborative, experienced team.
This is a paid, 3-month, part-time internship designed for recent graduates seeking meaningful agency experience and a pathway toward a future Account Coordinator role.

Interns at HCK2 don’t sit on the sidelines. You’ll contribute to real client work from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll support multiple account teams and gain hands-on experience across media relations, social media strategy and agency operations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching media stories, reporter interests, competitors and industry trends
- Developing earned media and social media audits for clients
- Drafting written materials, including press releases, blogs, contributed articles and social posts
- Pitching stories to reporters and content ideas to social media influencers
- Monitoring and tracking media coverage and social engagement results
- Supporting social media content development and assisting with basic graphic coordination
- Learning tools such as Sprout Social to help schedule social media calendars
- Assisting with the preparation of materials for client meetings and presentations
- Attending internal account meetings and client meetings, and developing summaries and action steps
- Supporting project management related to creative and website initiatives
- Assisting Account Leads with timeline tracking and reporting
- Shadowing and supporting crisis communications preparation when opportunities arise
- Participating in agency brainstorms and campaign planning conversations
- Supporting general agency coordination tasks as needed
You’ll leave this role with a strong understanding of how integrated campaigns are developed and executed across disciplines.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
We’re looking for someone who is ready to learn quickly and contribute thoughtfully.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A recent bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats
- Curiosity about media, storytelling and digital platforms
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- The ability to manage multiple assignments at once
- A proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics basics
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Express or similar tools (a plus but not required)
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is dependable, coachable and excited to grow.
