Compliance Analyst Intern

THE ROLE
In a consulting environment, the nature and pace of work shift with client demand. Depending on active engagements, work may draw from civil rights compliance and monitoring, legal writing and policy research, or data analytics and compliance tracking. Candidates with strength in any one of these areas, or a combination of them, are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interns at ARG support Project Managers and firm leadership across a range of compliance functions. Responsibilities vary with client demand and may include:
- Conducting research and drafting compliance reports and program documents
- Performing data entry, conducting analysis, and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to special projects across different compliance practice areas
- Collaborating with team members on client initiatives and strategic assignments
- Attending meetings, taking minutes, and supporting follow-up tasks
- Providing general project and administrative support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in accounting, engineering, law, finance, business administration, public administration, political science, or a related field
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Adobe Creative Suite and Tableau are a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a variable, fast-paced environment
